Larry Parker, my high school swim coach, who said, "Throughout a

in order to achieve that which is desired."
Earl Hoock, my ninth grade geometry teacher, who once told the

it, you will never be a leader."
Ed Dubinsky, one of my mathematics professors at Purdue, who
