The Site Council mission: As stakeholders it is our responsibility to work together to make recommendations which help create a more effective learning environment for the children who attend Battle Creek Middle School.
The Site Council is the Parent/Community/Staff Advisory Council to the Principal and as such helps shape policy including authorship of the yearly School Comprehensive Improvement Plan (SCIP) that drives staff allocation and the budget.
Membership requires a commitment to attend ten meetings. Note: Child Care is available and a light dinner is served.
Site Council meeting are usually the 2nd Monday of the month for no more than 90 minutes starting at 5:30 PM.
