Alper-LerouxBoys’ soccer maintained a spirit of togetherness throughout a tough season, said Coach Ron Brown. Highlights included a 3-1 defeat of Hazel Park, and the fact that the team closed out the season playing to two bitterly contested ties. The team was led by co-captainsViseth Koumarn and Brian Lee, and included many seventh graders, who will return for next year's season experienced and hungry for a better set of results. "I really appreciate their efforts, " Brown said, "and I wish we could have won the city title this year, but it was not to be."
