Classroom Expectations
Punctual:
1. Students will be in their seat when the bell rings. Students will
not leave their seats until the dismissal bell rings. If a student is
tardy s/he will be assigned one lunch detention.
Prepared:
2. Students will come to class with a pencil, planner and a notebook for notes.
3. Students will sit down right away in their assigned seats.
4. Students will copy down the assignment in their planners.
5. Students will sharpen their pencils before class. Students will throw away paper as they walk out of class at the end of the class.
6. Students will put their materials underneath their desks.
Polite:
7. Students will enter the classroom in a quiet, orderly way.
8. Students will not put their feet on others' desks and keep their hands to themselves.
9. Students will listen to instructions, work quietly, and not stop others from thinking, reading, and writing.
10. Students will be respectful to other students and to the teacher.
11. Students will not use gum, lotion, sprays, makeup, playing cards, candy, chips, cookies, rubber bands, or other distracting or harmful materials in the classroom.
12. Students will treat the classroom desks, books, computers and other materials with care and respect.
