Organization & Study Skills
AVID students all over the United States are easily identified by the 3-inch binder they carry with them to all of their classes. The students use dividers to create a section for each of their classes. In addition to keeping Cornell Notes and completed assignments, students also maintain a learning log, documenting the key things they are learning in class each day.
Learning Logs allow students to study "smarter" rather than studying "longer" as they work to succeed.
