Advisory Teachers
When in doubt about who to call, contact your student’s advisory teacher. Your student’s advisory teacher can answer your questions, relay information to the team, help you set up teacher conferences, or assist you in deciding who to contact.

Advisory period meets every morning and gives students the opportunity to discuss topics of concern with the same teacher on a daily basis.  In addition to student-selected topics, advisory teachers assist students in exploring basic social and academic skills such as those consistent with Panther Pride.  Other topics include life skills, MCA-II test preparation, and preparation for Conferences.

Advisory teachers serve as the primary advocate for their advisees, and will assist them in any concerns they have whether social, academic, or emotional.

Contacting Teachers
To reach a teacher, simply call our school number at 651-293-8960.  The best times to contact teachers are before or after school or during the teacher’s prep period (if you know it).  If you call during class time, you will be redirected to the voice mail system.

You can also contact your student’s teacher by email.  In most cases teacher email addresses are
firstname.lastname@spps.org.  You can also use the links on the school website which is www.bcms.spps.org
