AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination)
AVID is a rigorous program designed to address the needs of students who may not envision attending college. Students from the academic middle are placed in upper level courses typically taken by college bound students.
They are also scheduled for the AVID elective in which they receive support, daily monitoring, and tutoring to help them succeed.
