Hi, my name is Laura Oyen and I'm the AIS lead teacher at Battle Creek Middle School. My undergraduate degree is in Geography from the University of Minnesota and I've received my teaching certification at Hamline University in Secondary Social Studies. I've worked for the St. Paul School district for four and a half years. Prior to that, I worked in the insurance industry in a variety of positions including many with training responsibilities. I enjoy travel and have been to almost every state in the United States. I look forward to getting to know your students and having a great school year!
