Here is just a little bit of information about Mr. Thao:
Mr. Thao came to America (St. Paul, MN) in 1984. He initially started his education at Battle Creek Middle School and attended Harding Senior High afterward.
Mr. Thao has been a School Social Worker for 10 years. He is also able to speak, read, and write multiple languages: Hmong, Lao, Thai, and English.
As a Social Worker, Mr. Thao works with students and parents in all kinds of issues: educational,
emotional and /or behavioral concerns, truancy, provide and link families to community resources, do home visits, mediate conflicts, and perform other related tasks.
