High School: Graduated from Cook County High School in Grand Marais, MN.
College: Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Graduate School: Master of Arts in Education from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, MN.
Specialist Degree: Educational Administration from Minnesota State University-Mankato.
Favorite Past-times: Being outdoors, baking homemade bread, reading, knitting, exercising, and being with my family, family dogs, and friends.
Favorite Books/Authors: Prey books by John Sanford, Nora Roberts, LaVyrle Spencer, Danielle Steele, Tami Hoag, John Grisham.
Favorite Foods: My Mom's bbq baby back pork rib recipe!
Favorite Movies: The Fockers, Miss Congeniality, anything with comedy or romance.
Favorite Sports: Downhill skiing, baseball.
Favorite color: Black
Favorite Teachers: Mr. Lingwall (5th grade teacher), Mr. Duffy (HS english teacher), Mr. Peterson (HS history teacher).
Little known facts: I grew up on the shores of Lake Superior. I skied my entire growing up years at Lutsen Mountains, ski racing, member of the National Ski Patrol (along with siblings), and I love the cold weather!
