Purpose
The Panther Pride Program is a school-wide initiative to enhance student achievement and school climate. Our goal is to help students achieve by teaching them to be more Punctual, Prepared, and Polite (the 3 P’s). Our success has led other St. Paul middle schools to adopt similar programs.
Expectations for student behavior are reviewed by students and staff daily. Students and classes will be recognized for practicing the 3 P’s through individual and classroom rewards.

Level 1 Consequences
When a student has a few low level behaviors like tardiness, unpreparedness,
put downs, minor disruptions, gum, unwillingness to work, inattentiveness, uniform violations-
These behaviors will be addressed by the teacher in the classroom. Teachers may do any of the following:
• Contact parent / guardian
• Move student to another location
• Remind students of expectations
• Hold an individual conference with student
• Require a Reflection Sheet
• Speak with another staff member (mentor, coach, AP, counselor, advisor, etc.)
• Any other appropriate intervention
